Previously - Movies and TV Tracking App
Full-stack app built with Vue.js and FastAPI to track movies and series with external API integration.
Role
Handled application design, external API integration, and the full-stack flow structure.
Deliverables
- • Content search and browsing
- • Personalized progression tracking
- • FastAPI backend for business logic
- • BetaSeries integration
- • Vue.js interface for regular usage
Results
- • Stronger command of third-party integrations
- • Improved frontend/backend consistency
- • Better debugging and application reliability habits

Overview
Previously is a watch-tracking application designed to pull external content, present it clearly, and let users follow their progress. The project gave me a strong practical case for building a complete product around a third-party API.
Context
I wanted to build a daily-use experience with a clear flow between discovery, browsing, and tracking. The main challenge came from making the external integration reliable and keeping data coherent across frontend and backend.
What I built
- A Vue.js interface for browsing and tracking.
- BetaSeries integration for catalog and metadata.
- A FastAPI backend in Python for business logic.
- An application structure designed for readability and regular usage.
Technical choices
The Vue.js + FastAPI combination gave me a lightweight interface and an explicit backend structure. It was a strong setup to work on separation of concerns, third-party integration, and clean frontend/backend communication.
Results & Progression
Previously helped me improve on two key topics: API integration and application data consistency. It strengthened my ability to debug cross-stack issues and stabilize a product that depends on an external service.
What this project demonstrates
This project shows my ability to deliver a full-stack application focused on actual usage, with external integration, structured backend logic, and a clear interface. It is a solid proof of progression in integration work, debugging, and application robustness.
