Overview
Dragon Hoard is a full-stack e-commerce project built to demonstrate delivery capability on a complete product: browsing, business logic, data, and responsive UI. I used it as a practical way to reinforce consistency between frontend, backend, and user experience.
Context
The goal was to structure an understandable e-commerce flow from product discovery to cart and validation steps. Beyond visuals, the main challenge was keeping the overall architecture readable and maintainable across the entire application stack.
What I built
- Product catalog with clear content structure.
- Detail pages designed to support browsing and action.
- Cart flow supported by server-side business logic.
- Backend API for application orchestration.
- MongoDB data layer for product information.
Technical choices
I used Next.js on the frontend, Node.js / Express for business logic, and MongoDB for persistence. This setup gave me a solid balance between UI iteration speed and a cleaner backend structure than a simple prototype approach.
Results & Progression
This project mainly helped me progress on full-stack product coherence. It strengthened my ability to connect interface, APIs, and data around a single business flow. It is an important proof of progression on structuring a usable and readable product.
What this project demonstrates
Dragon Hoard shows that I can build a product around realistic usage with clear technical structure. It is a strong demonstration of full-stack development capability, product structuring, and continuity between UI and backend.
